What is a Team Account?



A Team Account is a shared account for members of a specific team. Each team has its own unique account. Once the Team Account is activated, any new cards issued for the team members are automatically linked to this account.

Benefits:
Simplified financial management with a single team balance.
Reduced need to redistribute funds among team members.
Lower amounts of funds can be kept in the team account.

How to Enable Team Accounts for Users?



Go to the Teams section.
When creating a new team or editing an existing one:
Locate the Charges for payments toggle.
Set it to Team Account.
Save the changes.

From this point, all cards issued for the members of this team will be linked to the team account.

Note: Team accounts are created automatically when the feature is enabled for a team for the first time.

How to Top Up a Team Account?



Go to the Accounts section.
Select Transfer Between Your Accounts.
Choose the desired Team Account from the account list and complete the transfer.

Access Rights for Transfers and Accounts:

Owner: Can transfer funds to any Team Account.
Admin: Can transfer funds to any Team Account.
Team Lead: Can transfer funds only to their own team’s account.

How to Check a Team’s Balance?



The team balance and current operational mode are displayed in the Teams List.
The balance history is shared among all members of the team.
Payment details remain unchanged, allowing expense tracking for individual team members as before.

How to Find Cards Linked to a Team Account?



Go to the Cards section.
Use the Account Type filter:
Select Team Account to display cards linked to team accounts.
Select Personal Account to display cards linked to personal accounts.

Cards linked to a team account will have a corresponding label in the Balance column.

Important Notes



You cannot change the account linked to an existing card.
At present, it is not possible to switch the account for a card, but this feature is planned for future updates.
Restrictions on card ownership:
Cards linked to a Team Account cannot be transferred to an owner from another team.
Moving members between teams:
If a member has cards linked to a Team Account, they cannot be transferred to another team.
To proceed, the cards must first be reassigned to another owner within the current team.
